No. To encourage clients to focus on treatment and recovery, our policy is to disengage from technology (smartphones, computers, iPads, iPods, etc.). We’ve found that technology can be used to isolate and remain disengaged from the treatment experience. In fact, some of our clients have a compulsive or detrimental relationship with technology.
Yes. Upon arrival, each client is encouraged to contact their loved one (key emergency contact) to let them know they arrived safely at The Ranch TN. After that, clients do not have access to the telephone for the first three days of treatment so that they can focus on immersing themselves in treatment and making connections with peers and staff. Following the first seven days, clients have access to a telephone three times a week for 20 minutes each time. Depending on how a client is progressing through treatment, they may be allowed additional or less phone time at the discretion of their treatment team.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we currently do not allow on-site visitations. We do, however, provide family education and therapy via phone or other virtual tools. Because of the nature of our therapies and our focus on trauma, grief/loss, attachment wounds and other survivor behaviors, we only encourage engagement when clinically approved. This helps clients and their loved ones move into healthy communication styles with the assistance of experienced therapists, and helps prevent unhealthy communication patterns.
Invitation to the family therapy or couples/partners experiences requires the client to sign a release of information indicating their desire to invite specific family members. Attendance at these programs requires HIPAA Privacy Rule accommodation (see HIPAA Privacy Rule – HHS.gov). Please do not make arrangements to attend a family intensive program, the family education program or couples/partners program unless you have received an invitation letter from our Director of Family Therapy Services.
Treatment cost varies depending on the program, level of care, length of stay and insurance coverage. We accept most PPO insurance plans. The best way to get an accurate estimate of any out-of-pocket expenses is to call our admissions team for a free treatment cost estimate.
Yes. We are in-network with many major insurance carriers and accept most PPO insurance carriers. Please call our admissions team for a free insurance benefits check. We’ll work directly with your insurance company to determine your coverage eligibility and maximize the benefits potentially available to you. Please note that though your policy may indicate a maximum number of days of coverage available, approval of the use of those days is contingent on the insurance provider’s review of your medical need for care. Your admissions team member will explain this in detail.
Following an initial assessment and stabilization period at Spring House, our intake residence, you’ll live in a welcoming home with a group of 7-10 peers sharing similar struggles. Our residences become treatment programs in and of themselves, fostering peer support and teaching accountability and effective communication skills. Residences are complete with comfortable furnishings, common living areas, kitchens and outdoor gathering areas.
Each of our residences is equipped with a fully functioning kitchen. You and your peers will prepare and eat well-rounded meals together. This helps encourage community and provides you valuable recovery skills to apply in life after treatment. Clients work weekly on their meal plan and shopping list, which they provide to The Ranch TN staff. We accommodate special dietary needs like food allergies, vegetarianism or kosher requirements.
